Matt

Driving arround in his…..car? Did he have anything other than the cop car? Anyways, regardless Matt's overactive mind was racing through the thoughts of recent happenings. First discovering his power was hard enough, but to then to find out that his 'faithful' wife was being a tramp? Needless to say Matt was somewhat torn apart within his mind. Trying to mend peices of his crumbling life together in his head he turned the corner continuing his little drive he was on. Right hand leaving the wheel he would reach for the radio and with a flick of the knob turning it off. Starting to get a headache from all the random thoughts he was picking up he opted for driving in silence.

Elle

: ::Perhaps it was best that she actually go home now. After the events at Panera, the meeting with the Haitian, and the encounter with Peter she just coudldn't get her thoughts together. The sweets from Panera were suppose to be a gift to Gabriel, but Elle just couldn't help herself, they were just so enticing and they were right in her hand… she'd be a fool not to indulge in the pure deliciousness, and thanks to her five finger discount it was all free. There was a lot of evaluating she needed to do, she got a list of people with abilities though half of it was kind of smudged after Peter dumped the contents of the slusho machine on her. It was still useful though, better than nothing. Speaking of slushos, a cherry one was grasped in her hand as she took a sip, with that Balenciaga bag clutched in the other. Black stilettos clicked down the pavement as she turned the corner, and my mind just went blank.::

Tracy

: Things had definitely begun to spiral out of control for the often quite controlled Miss Tracy Strauss. As a woman of politics, she knew how to keep a cool head under pressure. That is, until recently, when the foundations of a world she thought she knew became foundations of a world she thought she knew began to fall inwardly toward her. A world of normalcy suddenly became a world of the abnormal. Things you could only dream about were suddenly things that were happening right in front of your own eyes. Those icy blue eyes of hers that watched the roads in front of her, that silver Nissan 350Z whipping about corners in an attempt to escape the happenings of Panera Bread. Where she'd found out that Cindy was actually Elle. Where Ignatius Kane had proven to be something other than the man she had met before. Just like Nathan Petrelli. Miss Strauss, with those blonde tresses tied behind her head in her signature ponytail, bangs absent as always, whipped her steering wheel to the right out of frustration, but mostly to keep on the roads. But as she did so, eyes found a familiar blonde woman making her way down the street in an outfit she recognized, with a Slusho in hand. You have got to be kidding me. Tracy wanted answers. She wanted to know what Elle knew, and what she knew now. The wheels on that Nissan skewed across the pavement as she brought that Nissan to a stop, pulled the keys out, and hopped out of the car. Black heels found themselves making their way across the pavement, legs swinging into that tan colored pencil skirt as that black double-breasted crop jacket kept those mounds of hers from falling about amidst her swift approach. Tracy Strauss stepped to Elle, grabbing her by the shoulder with her right hand. A right hand that lost its color as it fell into a tint of bright blue, the chill spreading from her warm body with a tingle before making that cold occupy Elle's shoulder, moving about her body for a threatening freeze. But Tracy wasn't freezing her to kill her; no, only to show she was no longer the victim. When Elle was turned to face her, Tracy was quick to speak. "Tell me what you know about this Company. And Linderman. And exactly what the hell it is you do for either or, Cindy." Emphasis on that name as they were both well-aware Tracy knew better than that.

Sylar

: - Now that..was an interesting news story, to say the least. Not that Sylar was your typical stay at home and watch the 5 o'clock news with the beer kind of guy, but sometimes, when you had such…we'll call it fine-tuned hearing, you picked up things. Occurance at Panera? Someone stating that the woman ' threw lightning bolts' While the news was playing it off as some kind of hoax, 'Gabriel' knew better than to discount it. It didn't take more than a few seconds before he was out the door and heading towards the intersection stated by the annoying anchorwoman. It was funny just how fast one could get to where they were going—or rather, seemed to be fast when you only had one thought on the mind. He hadn't seen Elle in 48 hours and he wasn't sure what that was about, but if she was going to go traipsing around on the prime time news, than she could damn sure pick up a phone and beg for forgiveness. But all that was filed away for later, because by some stroke of luck, and because the mun just wants to play, he turned a corner to find the battle of the blondes about to happen. A narrowing of eyes behind those brows, it didn't take much to see that the other woman's hand was glowing blue, which while touching Elle, could not be a good thing. With that typical Jedi-like movement, he raised a hand and sent the force of that telekinesis at Tracy, intending to at the very least, knock her away from Bishop-

Elle

: ::That chilling sensation over came her, as she gasp and turned around quickly, a spark already in her hand, when suddenly she saw the political advisor thrown away from her. Despite this little fact, she still felt the need to rattle the woman's body with electric energy, though not enough to burn her skin. Intense pain was the only effect desired. "You bitch…" Even though Tracy had thrown the lemonade at her, Elle was more than willing to dismiss that little fact and not harbor a grudge. Ms. Ice Queen apparently had other things on her mind. Turning around she witnessed Gabriel, a smile coming to her face. Boy did she have a lot of things she needed to tell him, things that he may not be entirely happy with, but things nonetheless. "Hey… I was just heading home. Exactly, how did you know where I'd be?" At that moment another news van drove right past them, and she giggled. "Oh…"

Tracy

: Tracy glanced at Elle as she turned around, that orb of blue already in the happenings of her hand. She was already quick to reach forward, that hand of hers moving to grasp Elle by the arm. She wanted to play dirty? She wouldn't be able to play at all as Tracy would grasp her, sending that ice throughout the entirety of her body. But before the Ice Queen could even lay a claim on a spot on her arm,she found herself thrust backward when an invisible force slammed into her side. "Ugh!" She grunted out as those heels left the ground, forcing her to go airborne before she landed in a heap in the middle of the street. No sooner than the Queen herself made impact with the cement with an audible groan, she felt her screams tear from her mouth as a jolt of bright blue slammed into her body and forced pain through those nerves. When she finally recovered, that ponytail disheveled and not as gorgeous as it once had been, Tracy glanced over at the blonde and the man she approached — but not before the sound of an approaching car forced her into immediate fight-or-flight mode, taking her to her feet and diving forward out of the way so that she wasn't hit. With the impact on the ground heavy on her frail body, she fought to rise to her feet in those heels, looking at her car, wanting to immediately make her way over to it before she found herself in a terrible situation. Somehow…she had a feeling that 'invisible wall' wasn't just a gust of wind.

Sylar

: - Gust of wind? Definitely not. He lowered his left arm after that quick projection of that ability, watching the other woman tumble into the street. In that signature way, the rest of his body was stock still as he turned his head to face Elle with that little tilt as he silently stared at her for a second or two- " Yes. Oh. You must learn to be be more careful." -His attention was returned back to Tracy as he caught her trying to make her exit out of the corner of an eye. In what was surely some kind of cruel joke, she was suddenly filled with that white hot pain of electricity coursing through her body. Water was such an excellent conductor, after all. If Miss Strauss could find the strength to look, it seemed the origin of that electricity was not Elle this time, but rather him. Now how could that be fair, that the both of them could inflict such pain at will- " I'm sure you have a lot to catch me up on.." -He closed his hand, cutting off that flow. The general idea would be to slow her down in that escape towards her car- " …but that can wait a few more moments. First, I want to know what she was attempting to do to you with that ..touch."

Elle

: ::Tracy was running? What was the point in even approaching in the first place if she was going to give up so easily? Elle found herself a little disappointed, but laughed wickedly once Gabriel started to fill her up with electric blue. "Well… I was pretty much attacked, it was either take out Panera or let god knows what happened to me. She was there by the way." Where was Tracy during her trip to Disney World, the heat was unbearable, at least then she would've had remarkable timing. "She freezes things, like you." Luckily, Elle managed to hold fast to that delicious slusho, slurping down the contents, despite the chill inflicted upon her. All Tracy had to do really was ask nicely and perhaps a few Company secrets would have been divulged to her, people always had to go and make things even more difficult. Ask Ignatius, it was his fault that Panera was roasted in the first place when he could've just answered her question instead of seeming like a creepy stalker.::

Tracy

: Well, a bitch wasn't made of water just yet. But she wasn't running from Elle; far from. You see, a woman of her intelligence knew when she was outnumbered, and watching Elle run so swiftly to the side of the mystery man, accompanied by that 'invisible wall' she'd felt, made her feel as though the odds were far from in her favor. But this was only furthered as jolts of threatening electricity left his hands and tore through dead air into her chest. Immediately, her body tensed up, arms falling behind her body as the surge took her by surprise. She screamed, but not intentionally, as the stream poured into every fiber of her being and caused her immense pain. It was only when he ceased the flow that she found the pain lightened, though the aftermath of being electrocuted still present, falling forward on all fours as she tried to recover. It was then that she could hear Elle speaking, for before when her body was convulsing, she could not. She freezes things, like you. Tracy was a quick catch. He must have more than one power. How the hell can he do that? Icy blues shifting up to him as she eyed the man in front of her, not pleading, but then again, definitely not aggressive either. She didn't know what he was capable of. And she would have to find out before she reacted in any intimidating way. Tracy glared at him. "What do you want?" She managed to ask through jittering teeth.

Sylar

: " Freezes things? How incredibly boring. I know all about that one already. " -Was that a frown? Absolutely. There was nothing worse than finding something you already knew. The quest for new knowledge would have to be put aside though, because the other girl had seemed to come back from that momentary electrocution with her brain cells intact. And now she was asking questions? That same head tilt given to Tracy as he looked away from Elle and back to the huddled mass on the floor, who was right to be intimidated. There weren't very many who had any idea of what he could actually do. Although, Elle's words were still ringing in the back of his head. He spoke to her, even as he was still looking at Strauss, daring her to try and get up and run. He wouldn't move close though, because apparently she needed to touch to activate her own ability. Keen observer he was- " You were attacked? By her?" -Nodding towards Tracy, even though he was already watching her- " And if so, why?" -This second question directed towards the Ice Bitch. I mean Queen, yeah. Queen-

Elle

: "It wasn't her initially, at first it was some creepy old guy who seemed to know more about me than he possibly should have. My temper got the best of me and sparks were exchanged, but not to the point where people could notice. It was weird, kind of like some force pressing down on me, and I couldn't move. From there you can infer what happened." Another sip of that slusho was taken. Ms. Strauss must have witnessed a completely different scene as Elle never ran to Gabriel, she merely turned around to acknowledge him. As Gabriel asked his questions, she couldn't help but think the same thing. Well sure she knew why, but why? Why was she so interested in Linderman and the Company in the first place? Obviously she didn't know what it was she was getting herself into. Personally, Elle would have just left that one alone if she was in the Ice Queen's position.::

Tracy

: The Ice Queen (but 'Bitch' worked too) was already trying her hand at rising to her feet, right leg brought upward so that her stiletto heel could catch pavement once more before the left would join it thereafter. Miss Strauss was rising to her feet, knees slightly scuffed, and that outfit she wore singed beyond repair. Great. That's two outfits down the tube. Not that her outfits were really her main concern at that point, seeing as she found herself in a position where her well-being was being threatened by not one person (which she might have been able to handle), but two. The icy vixen looked at Elle, and the man she had run to (in a figure of speech), as they had a discussion about her while she was standing right there. Tracy had nothing to say. She could only stare at the two with curiosity, waiting for them to answer the questions she'd had as they talked as though she wasn't there. Sometimes, it's in your best interest to simply be a fly on the wall. Anyone in politics could tell you that.

Matt

Hearing the call of an electricity overload across the police banner Matt had flipped his lights on and was speeding down the street. First a left, then a right reaving through traffic that was doing a horrible job of getting out of the way. Skidding to a stop as he dawned upon a destroyed shop and a pair standing in the street, one looking oddly familiar. Door open and gun drawn Parkman took aim at the pair. " Police! Down on the ground now!" He stated while keeping cover behind that squad car. Concentrating as he did so he began to attempt to pick up any thoughts from them. " I said on the ground!" Matt was always one to take his job seriously, even with all the happenings in his life going on. Though this blonde….she looked so familiar. It was her mind he was targeting rather than the other.

Elle

: ::There was a smirk on her face as she stared down at Tracy, Elle had every intention of killing her right then and there. A spark formed in her palm, but before she can launch it at the political advisor the sound of a police siren was approaching them. Stopping the attack for the time being, she turned in the direction of the squad car and watched as the chubby officer made his exit of the vehicle. "What's the problem officer?" She asked feigning innocence, something she was so good at. In the her head she couldn't help but think that he had poor timing, and that rather than hassling them he should be at Panera with everyone else. "Pointing a gun at two innocent blondes? Is someone trying to compensate for their girth?" She giggled. The next time he commanded them, she just rolled her eyes. "Okay, okay, fine! I'm on the ground, no need to yell!" Getting down, she coudn't help think about how this certainly was getting in the way of her plans.::

Tracy

: No. Tracy was wise enough to know that this was not going to end well; not for her, necessarily, but this innocent police officer who was just trying to do his job. The blonde bombshell glanced over at him with those icy blue hues, those clothes she wore so burned at the front where she'd been struck by that lightning, light layers of dirt over that outfit from where she'd landed on the ground after being thrown through the air. She looked at the cop who pointed the gun, her signature ponytail slightly disheveled, her face rattled clearly from having been jolted as much as she had. Elle just couldn't keep her mouth shut, could she? Icy blues trailed over to her, shaking her head irritably. This girl is clinically insane. With a glance back to the cop, she put on one of those phony politician smiles she did so well, one Elle may recognize from when they first met. "Officer, there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding. My name is Tracy Strauss? Political advisor for Nathan Petrelli, candidate for the Senate seat for the state of New York." Her name alone had pull with the relevant. Adding Nathan to it should put the icing on the cake. "I'm sure we can discuss this like reasonable adults without you pointing a firearm in my face, am I correct?" Such a condescending way of speaking, but her tone of voice never gave a hint to it.

Matt
With a light shake of his head he cleared the cobwebs in his mind, digging geeper into the rude blonde's mind. Firearm still aimed between the pair his free hand would bring a radio to his mouth. " This is Officer Matt Parkman requesting backup on 35th. " Attention still kept between the pair he set the radio down and gave the pair responses to their comments, first Elle then Tracy. " No need to cop and attitude missy. As for you Miss Strauss, right now you're a suspect in a store bombing. Now on the ground! " Matt continued his sifting within Elle's mind as he began to hear more sirens in the background heading thier way.

Elle

: ::Parkman? Boy did that name sound familiar. It took her few moments to realize just why that was the case. He was the son of Maury Parkman, one of the Company founders, she should've known given his weight. There was something in Company files about him as well, Elle knew that he'd been brought in at one point or another, but just what exactly was his ability? "So you mean, out of all the dozens of people that were there, you decide to pinpoint us? Mind explaining your reasoning?" This was where being deluded and morally challenged came in handy, she honestly did believe she didn't do anything wrong, and thought it was fairly stupid that he decided to stop them of all people. Wasn't the saying the criminal always returns to the scene of the crime? Well the crime along with the news crew are down the block, a place he should be.::

Tracy

: Tracy blinked a couple of times as she was implemented in the crime of a 'store bombing.' Those eyes shifted immediately to Elle, who was already on the ground. Great. Running into this crazy bitch has brought me nothing but trouble from the beginning, and now I'm about to be put in handcuffs because she decided to go have a hissy-fit and go Raiden on everyone in Panera. The Ice Queen felt her smile falter just briefly, but she quickly returned it at full force. "Officer Parkman, was it?" Using his name was a good way to show she was a good citizen, and it was one of the many methods of persuasion she'd picked up in college. "I understand you're probably looking at my attire right now and thinking you have your culprit, but I assure you it's not the case. I actually just got back from home — " Tracy took the liberty of pointing over to her silver Nissan 350Z, the driver's side door of which was still opened and the engine still running - "And I thought I saw my sister Niki in New York. She lives in Vegas, so you can understand my confusion. But as I got out of my car, an ambulance whizzed by and I was almost hit. You'll have to excuse me, I'm still a little shocked, but I had to dive for cover to avoid being flattened on the pavement." Not much of that was a lie, though the way she'd twisted the story around was. Tracy Strauss let that smile falter, but this time purposely so, as to avoid that nervous affect to what she was saying. "You have to know that, as a woman always in the public eye, I would never be implemented in such a despicable crime."

Matt

" I said on the ground Strauss!" Matt's attention shifted to the uncooperative blonde, an echo of his voice tricking in her mind. Impulsing her to follow the directions. Matt wasn't about to take his chances with the weird events that had been occuring across the country. Gun still aimed at the pair the overweight Officer's nerves eased slightly as two more squad cars pulled up on the reverse side of the two blondes. Guns drawn providing that requested backup. After implanting the request to the pavement Matt was back to searching Elle's thoughts trying to figure out why she was so familiar to him. -d-

Elle

: ::Elle groaned in frustration. "You've got the wrong fucking people! We didn't do anything wrong! Isn't it your job to like… I dunno, find the criminal or something! So why aren't you doing it!? Jeez, I'll make a fucking better cop than you!" All she needed to do was get one finger pointed in Parkman's direction before she was able to take him out, with a pinpoint accurate shot. Unfortunately, things got even more complicated, when the extra squad cars pulled up. She was so caught up in the situation, she just noticed that Gabriel was no where to be found. 'Did he fucking leave me here!?' She thought angrily. He had better have had a plan or he was definitely going to catch it when they got back home.::

Tracy

: Standing there in those heels even still as she heard Elle's complaints from the ground below. I am so not getting on the ground. She glanced upward at the cop as he shouted at her, that gun pointed ever-so-demanding in front of her. But it wasn't him raising his voice that got action out of her. It was the thought in her head. Maybe I should get on the ground. Giving into the thought, Tracy nodded her head. "I think I'm going to get down." Said she, almost brain-dead like, as she was already bending at the knees and lowering herself to the floor. She scooted her legs back as her arms became the support of her body and suddenly she was flat on the ground without worry, which was extremely unlike Tracy Strauss. A glance up at the other cop cars that came by. Shit. I'm going to have an arrest on my record. I'm going to need to keep this out of the press. Especially now that Nathan's campaign concludes only a couple of days away. And then the heaviest thought of all. Will they implement me in with the explosion on New York? Finding this more and more unbearable a situation, she simply sat silently on the ground, not really able to disagree with getting on the ground…for an unknown reason she couldn't comprehend.

Matt

With a firm nod to the other two officers Matt gave the go-ahead to put the cuffs on the blondes. Remaining behind his squad car Parkman kept his aim as the other officers stepped over to the pair. One grabbing Elle by the wrist he brought her arm twards her back while grabbing for his handcuffs. " Hands on your head! " Was uttered from Parkman to Strauss who had not laid on the ground completely. Though with no echo this time arround, which was when the remaining officer stepped over to her, all three guns still drawn and aimed for safety reasons. -d-

Elle

: ::Though irritation was clearly present on her face, she complied for the most part, which was saying something considering Ms. Bishop's dislike for authority figures. Looking on as the other officer cuffed Tracy, she gave an innocent smile. The political advisor obviously didn't seem to have been in this situation before. It didn't bother Elle all that much, she was use to confinement from her days spent in the Company. Blues glanced upwards as she waited to be escorted to the car.::

Tracy

: Tracy was brought to her feet after having those wrists locked into silver bracelets, the clink! as they slid into place and held onto her frail arms quite firmly, keeping her from moving at her will. The Ice Queen rose from the ground with the help of the officer that had cuffed her, bringing her onto her feet and standing her up on those stiletto heels. As she was dragged toward the police car, she glanced over at Parkman. "Excuse my French, Officer Parkman, but this is bullshit." And just like that, she looked away from him, as he no longer warranted her attention. Instead, it was brought to Elle as they were taken toward the police cars. "And this bullshit is all your fault." She said in a rather snide tone to her, legs moving forward in that dirtied tan pencil skirt over her waist.

Matt

The officers ecorted the pair to the same squad car, in which they began to be transported to lockup. Parkman stood momentarily holstering his gun, thinking about when Strauss got on the ground. That was a different feeling, not the same as hearing other's thoughts….but giving them his own. Slowly sitting in his squad car he stared at the center of the steering wheel, pondering. Snapping out of it shortly after he had started that engine and was heading for the lockup himself. -d-

Elle

: ::Escorted to the cars, she looked at Tracy, "Really, was it? I don't seem to recall…" She teased with a smirk. Sitting within the vehicle she waited until the two offers began to drive off, taking them away from their location. Craning her head to the left, she gave Tracy a look. If the woman was as smart as she seemed to be she should understand what exactly it was the young operative had cooked up. 'Let's see if little miss perfect can hang with the big girls.' With those hands secured behind her, electricity flowed into that metal weakening it, a finger pointed right in the center of the metal contraption letting a tiny spark of electricity hit it. With a snap that would only be audible to the backseat passengers, she felt her hands' restraints give way. Smirking, she looked over at her "partner" in crime.::

Tracy

: "You'll be letting us go." She said from the backseat of that car, a confident smirk on those thin lips of hers. "After all, where were our Miranda rights, Officer?" The Ice Queen was as confident as ever as she spoke, a glance to the left at Elle who 'didn't seem to recall' how this was all her fault. Her voice dropped so low you wouldn't have been able to hear it over the drop of a pin, her words coming out to the woman beside her. "Oh, like hell you don't. You know exactly what I'm talking about." But next thing she knew she was getting that look. Tracy wasn't an idiot; she knew that meant Elle was planning something. And somehow, Tracy Strauss wasn't sure she'd like this plan. It wasn't until seconds later she saw bright blue light from behind Elle, those handcuffs illuminated by the surge of electricity that heated them. Suddenly, Elle was free. Tracy looked forward with those lips pursing curiously, a glance in the rear-view mirror of that officer before her hands began to take to the color of the electricity Elle had manipulated. Bright blue hands caused those handcuffs on her to ice over almost immediately, silent cracks of chill weakening the subjects of her focus before she simply pulled her wrists apart and the broken pieces of handcuffs fell against the seat behind her pointlessly. Looking over at Elle with a very small shrug of her left shoulder, head tilting into the shrug a bit with a 'it's your move' look.

Officers

Uhh…the pair of cops continued to chat with each other unknowing that the ladies were planning to escape. They simply kept driving twards the lockup.

Elle

: ::She glanced down at the space between Ms. Strauss and the seat and smiled knowing that she was being cooperative. 'Let's get this show on the road shall we?' Concentrating just a bit the electronical equipment in the car would begin to act on it's on accord. The roof lights flickered off and on, as did the siren from outside, in a few moments the cars battery shut down, the vehicle decelerating and coming to a steady stop. Thank god, for everything being electrical these days. "Why are we stopping?" She asked the officers, voice sounding a bit worried. The plan was to have the officers try to take them out of the car then eliminate them, actually they could have done that now if they really wanted to, but Elle wanted to see what Tracy had to offer.::

Tracy

: The political advisor simply sat quite proud in the backseat of that cop car after seeing how easily she had just escaped certain imprisonment and embarrassment. She looked at the flickering lights in the car, the sudden sound of a siren from outside filling the streets and interior of the car alike. Bright blues shifted over to the electrified woman beside her, who looked nothing out of the ordinary, as the car they were in was slowly coming to a stop. Tracy furrowed those brows. "Is something the matter?" She added onto Elle's question, genuine puzzlement in her voice bringing the question a sense of sincerity, though the answer was quite clear from the get go. Did they have to wait for the cops to get them out of the cars? Absolutely not. For when that car started to roll to a stop, Tracy Strauss placed her hand against the door beside her, that bright blue taking the pigment right out of her flesh as that ice began to spread its way through the very door she'd been escorted through upon being arrested. The metal began to weaken immediately as it became nothing more than fragile ice, and once they'd asked that question about 'something being wrong,' Tracy leaned against Elle and brought both legs into her chest. It wasn't long before she shot them both outward, kicking the door and causing it to fly off the hinges from being so weak against her strong kick. Suddenly? They were free, and Tracy was the first to get out of the vehicle. As she did, she hurriedly placed her hand against the passenger door while waiting for Elle to hop out after her, a familiar blue taking control of that hand as ice spread about the inner workings of that door. This would slow down the cop closest to them, as her ice didn't make the door fragile as it had before, but instead bring the gaps of the door and the door frame together with a thick layer of ice that would make it impossible to get open so easily. Once Elle was out of the car, however, Tracy would embark upon running — and fast.

Riley

: " Oi. " Was muttered softly as Riley was standing within the shadows of an alley, watching the entire escape happen. He had been ordered to keep tabs on Elle by Bob himself, and being that morally grey Company man he was he kept to his orders. Continuing to keep his distance he watched from afar as the two blondes made thier getaway. -d-

Elle

: "Way to go, didn't think you had it in ya," Elle most certainly had to give her props for a job well done. Exiting the car with a swiftness, she started to make a run for it as well. Ducking behind another car parked on the street. It was imperative that she check her jacket pocket, which contained the list of those with abilities. Realizing it was there she smirked. Their escape was most glorious she had to admit, Elle herself sharpshot an officer through the head, while Tracy froze the one on the passenger's side. The good thing about it was, nothing was there to trace it back to them. Electricity didn't have serial numbers, and who'd honestly believe that a woman of politics froze a man solid? Their escape truly was without risks from society at large. By now Elle had been continued to run, her trained body allowing her to catch up to Tracy. "I have to say, we made quite the team back there."

Tracy

: Indeed, it seemed as though that ice couldn't spread about that door fast enough. She was too late to stop that cop from getting out of the car, and once he did, already reaching for his firearm, she was quick to snatch his wrist and send a lasting chill through his spine (as well as the rest of him) before knocking his iced-over body forward to shatter at her feet. And already, she was on the move, those heels falling against the pavement as they made their way forward in that pencil skirt. Not used to running, but already having to do it quite often as of late, Tracy Strauss tore through the first opportunity she had to get off the streets: an alleyway. Blonde ponytail messier than ever as it bounced about behind her back with every stroke of those legs against the pavement, she found herself not alone anymore as Elle finally caught up to her. Blinking, she looked at her, slowing down just a bit as they were pretty much good. "Yeah. Imagine that." Said Tracy. But things between her and Elle were not over. Now, in the comforts of a dark alley (imagine calling a dark alley comforting), icy blues shifted over to a man in the alley before she could even ask the questions she'd wanted to ask Elle earlier. A glance to the Company girl, then looking back at the man. "Who are you?" She asked, not really because she thought Elle might recognize him, but more so to know rather or not he needed to be 'taken care of' in the way the cops had, had he seen what had just occurred.

Riley

: " What am I supposed to tell daddy this time sheila?" Riley spoke suddenly as the pair darted into the alley. Hands still resting in the pockets of his black slacks he let off a charming smile, along with a wink at Miss Strauss as she addressed him. Ignoring giving her a response he kept those hazel eyes concentrated on Elle awaiting her reason behind this little disaster that he would once again have to cover up. -d-

Elle

: ::Entering the alley, she stopped when Tracy did, her gaze following her fellow blonde's to none other than Riley Samson. "Oh don't worry about him, he's a friend." Elle reassured. It had been a month or so since she last saw her former trainer. "Hmm… you can always tell Daddy what I would. Saves you the time and the energy." Riley had covered for her before in the past so she was fairly confident that he wouldn't do anything to betray her trust. Besides, it was common knowledge that just about everyone hated her father, the chances of him tattling on her quite slim. "So how'd you find me? Wait that was a dumb question, the Company knows where I live. For a moment I almost forgot when agents broke in my apartment and tried to kill me and nearly succeeded in taking out my then boyfriend." Not to mention, she caused the entire building to short circuit when she and Gabriel were busy with their bedroom escapades.::

Tracy

: So she got more than she bargained for with that question as it seemed not only was this guy safe, but a friend of Elle's. No way. This girl has friends? Tracy shifted those bright blues over to her 'partner in crime' if you would before shifting them back over to the handsome brunette man standing before them who had winked at her. Brows furrowed at the sight of it but she thought nothing else about it. Daddy? The Company? Listening to Elle speak was already causing more questions to be asked. Taking out my then boyfriend. She must have been talking about the guy who had also shocked Tracy not even twenty minutes ago. Either that, or he's the new boyfriend. Miss Strauss simply sat silently, taking in the interaction silently with nothing to contribute.

Riley

: " Sheila, it's my bizzo to know where your at. Your father makes sure of that." The Australian agent spoke in his thick accent, while rolling his eyes slightly at the mention of her father. Yes it was very true Riley disliked the man. But it was nothing but easy to fake being loyal to get what he needed out of Bob. Hands remaining in his pocket he took a few steps closer, hues shifting to those of Tracy. With another charming smile he addressed her now. " Your file seems to need some updating Strauss. " Yes, Samson did indeed know who she was, he had tabs on every single person with abilities in the Company's records. Though he used it to his benefet, Riley was very good at what he does. -d-

Elle

: ::Her having a friend was surprising wasn't it? Well you could count Peter, but at the moment he was kind of a bit more than that, it's complicated perhaps it's not best to get into it. "I see… well my father does realize that I'm twenty-four rather than four, right? I'm more than capable of handling myself." Eyes turned their attention back to Tracy, who had just proven herself of being worthy of Elle's company. How… unexpected. "Yeah… it probably does, doesn't it?" She was speaking in regards to her file. "Didn't think you had the guts to let your hair down. Your performance certainly deserves a gold star or two." Jokes aside though, it was time that they get back to business. "So Riley, how long have you been watching me? And exactly what did you see?" Eyes narrowed in on him, she didn't want to think of the man as being a peeping tom, but he did kinda have that look to him.::

Tracy

: Tracy glanced back and forth as they brought up interesting subjects. Apparently, it was this guy's bizzo to keep tabs on Elle. Where the hell was he in Nathan's office when she attacked me? But Tracy relented. The blonde politician simply looked over at him as he spoke to her, calling her simply by her last name. She noticeably winced. "Tracy works just fine." She said in a rather pleasant tone, but the glamour of political bullshit making her correction nice quite heavy on her voice. Miss Strauss shifted her eyes over to Elle, then, who made the comment about letting her hair down. She smirked, knowing good and well that she, indeed, very rarely let her hair down. "You'd be surprised the things I can do." She said simply, leaving it at that. The happenings in Japan yesterday — well, technically almost 30 years ago — causing a knowing grin to creep up on those lips. As annoyed as she had been with the Japanese man known as Hiro, she had to admit his endeavors brought her into a state of confidence in herself that she hadn't had before.

Riley

: " Long enough. " Riley smirked as he turned from the pair starting to walk away down the alley. Stopping though not looking twards the pair he'd address them. " You two should leave the city." An odd thing to say yes, but the Company was always full of secrets. It would be obvious to Elle most of all that Riley was giving her serious advice. Then that was when he dissapeared into the shadows making his leave. " Things are about to change." He said, briefly and then he was gone to his next destination. Level 5.

Elle

: "Stalker, much?" The electric blonde wasn't sure how she felt about that information, kind of creepy given who it was. "Leave the city? Why?" Usually some things she had to learn on her own, if her father didn't feel like sharing Company secrets with her. The fact that Riley would say such a thing was strange in itself. A trip to the Company was definitely in order. "Change, huh!?" She called out to him as he walked away, "Way to vague it up for me! Thanks!" A confused expression over came her face. "Weird…" Turning to Tracy she sighed. "Since we seem to have bonded, I guess I'll let you ask a couple of questions. Something tells me that you're just dying to be nosey." She grinned teasingly.::

Tracy

: Something's going to change? Seeing as this man, this Riley, so obviously worked for the Company, Tracy Strauss could only purse her lips at the mention of his comments. The explosion. Seriously, does everyone in this city already know about it or — question answered as Elle didn't really seem to be in the know. Tracy wanted to chuckle there, as that was one thing she had over her. I'm working to make this explosion happen for the Company, and the girl working for them has no idea its even coming. Poetic justice? She could tell her, be the bearer of bad news, but that wasn't her place. The more people that knew about the disaster, and most importantly the more people that knew she knew about the disaster, the worse for her. So she would keep her lips sealed for now, nodding her head as Elle proclaimed it all 'weird.' Miss Strauss verbally agreed before having the opportunity to ask some questions via their 'bonding experience.' She wasn't sure she'd call it that just yet, but if it got her the answers she seeked, then maybe they could work it in that direction. The Ice Queen parted lips to speak. "The Company." Said she, bypassing all the bullshit and getting right to the chase. "I've read some files on it. Founded by twelve people, Mr. Linderman included. But what exactly is it they do, and as such, why does no one in the government seem to have any idea they even exist?" After all, Tracy had been doing political work for years now. And she had never once heard of something like this — she even knew some of the finer details about Area 51, so the fact that this secret had been kept for so long really irked her.

Ted

: Sitting in solitude. Somewhere deep in the Nevada desert stood a small shack. Inside said shack sat a man, sweat dripping from his face, hands clenched into fists resting upon the table. Slowly his right hand shook lightly as it opened creating a small burst of radioactivity before it died out. Brown hues glared to the left hand as he repeated it, creating another small though bright flash of radioactivity from his palm. Licking his lips he readjusted himself within the chair as he looked between both hands. Concentrating even more both fists spread open, creating those same tiny blasts at the same time. It seemed the man who was extremely scared of his powers was practicing them in solitude, where he could no longer hurt anyone like he had done to his wife. -d-

Elle

: ::Well normally Elle would have known about it had she been a regular agent, but being the daughter of one of the founders her position was both a curse and a blessing. Some things he wanted to censor her from. Was that even possible considering that she had performed a numerous amount of hits for him? Not to mention irrepairably fucked up people's lives. True, the two women weren't exactly friends in the normal sense, but Elle bonded with a few individuals rather quickly. Tracy came through back there, which earned her at least some of Elle's respect. "They police people like us." She began, "No one in the governments knows about it because that's the way it's suppose to be. I'm not exactly sure why it's a secret, but I guess it has something to do with the fact that we're not like them. So why be subject to their laws?" Elle knew that the some of the Founders (her father included) tended to make a clear distinction between normals and evolved humans. "Besides, what do you think will happen if normal people were to find out? Certainly wont be pretty."

Tracy

: Tracy kept those icy blues fixated on the other blonde diva in the alleyway. For that alley was, at that point of the evening, filled with two goddesses who were truly a force to be reckoned with, as made apparent by their behavior only moments ago. So. The Company is the law enforcement for special people. That much was understandable, for there were those that were dangerous. She knew that much to be true. After all, just look at what she was capable of: committing untraceable murder with just a touch. Or what this Sylar guy she had heard about could do, a man who murdered specials to gain their abilities. Like with any group of people, there were bad apples. And these bad apples, it seemed, were dealt with by The Company. So where does this explosion fit in with that? What gives them the right? That was one of the questions she wanted to ask the most, but with Elle unaware of the explosion, she knew it was a lost cause in even bringing it up. "So. They keep people like us under control." Summing it all up to show she was keeping up. "Which is why they were after me. Other than, you know, you trying to kill me and all." She hadn't had anyone after her until that night she'd run into Elle, which she had to figure led to her being sought after as Noah had explained to her. Tracy had another question. "And the Linderman Group? That's The Company? Without government funding, where do you find all the money to fund such costly projects?" Projects like blowing up New York City.

Ted

: Well, little did anyone know, Sprague was gaining further controll over his power. To assure that no one die by accident anymore. Clenching his right hand tightly he concentrated rather hard, spreading his fingers and opening his hand. Though this time was different as he was able to keep that bright ball of radioactivity 'burning'. Sligtly smirking he would do the same in the other hand, holding both there a moment looking between the two bright orbs. Allowing them to dissapear Ted decided to take a breather from training himself. Standing he would walk over to the door of the small shack and open it, allowing the cold night air of the desert to blow in his face. Gazing to the sky he thought about those Agents that had been trying to capture him. -d-

Elle

: "Mhmm," she confirmed, nodding to her fellow bitch. "I wasn't trying to kill you, maybe hurt you just a smidge but not kill you. I was going to bring you in so we can register you incase you do something worth noting. Then let you go. You might have even been offered a job." True, Elle didn't seem noble in her intentions, but most of the time that's just the way you had to be. Many people who had abilities weren't able to comprehend what it was they could do and were extremely paranoid, which at times could be a bit of a problem should they go on the offensive. "The Linderman Group… well that's Mr Linderman's personal little organization he's concocted. Connected to the Company but totally separate." The next question just made her think of her father, especially since he was the one responsible for the gargantuan amounts of cash which the Company had possession of. "Well that's where my Dad comes in, he's one of the Founders, and let's just say his ability makes us very wealthy." Also allowed her to get away with tons of shit. Everyone knew there were those in the Company that didn't approve of the way she conducted herself. Angela Petrelli being one of them.::

Tracy

: So Tracy Strauss was finally getting to the bottom of things. It was as if someone had handed her the manual to this fine game, the instructions on how to play without being just the pawn any longer. She found it intoxicating to say the least, and even quite thrilling to find herself immersed in a world so underground she, at the peak of her career, hadn't the slightest it even existed. The blonde with the messy ponytail simply blinked those eyes as the mention of being 'registered,' something she was glad she could have avoided. If they knew the things I've done…there would be no escape for me. Then, those answers came in the form of Linderman now, explaining what exactly his 'group' was, and their connections with the Company. That explains his mob-like dealings, and how they're totally separate from the policing agency that is The Company. And then, the mention of her father. Of course. With an ability such as his, of course they'd make use of him. "Bob Bishop." She said rather matter-of-factly, confidence etched in those facial linears. "He's your father? I've seen files." She explained how she made the connection then. She hadn't thought about the fact that his ability, in itself, could bring about infinite riches to fund an entire organization. How convenient. Tracy, with all the answers she thought she could get out of Elle about The Company in itself without bringing the explosion to her attention, simply embarked upon her final one. "And Hiro? Hiro Nakamura and his friend Ando?" Tracy furrowed those eyebrows at the thought of the two Asians who had known much too much when they'd stopped by Nathan's office the day before. "Are they working for the Company, too?"

Elle

: "Yeah he is," she stated rather proudly but not intentionally, she still couldn't exactly sever whatever emotional attachment that it was that she had to him, even after all that he'd done. "Who? Never heard of them in my life." That's when something clicked. "Wait… I did actually, but I heard of some old, wrinkly guy who's also a founder with the last name Nakamura. Maybe that's something. I never heard of anyone else with the name." Was that all that Tracy wanted to know? To be honest that was all that she was willing to give at the moment. Everything was up to a different diva to decide for herself. Well… everyone at the Company didn't exactly like her, and they did manipulate her on more than one occassion her father included. The part they played in Gabriel's life also made her rather indifferent. Tracy could ask all she liked. What was it that was really keeping her anchored to them? Her father truly wasn't enough at this point. "Anything else?"

Tracy

: She nodded her head at the note that Elle had never heard of Hiro or Ando before. Either she didn't know everyone at the Company, which might be difficult being the daughter of one of the Founders, or Hiro truly did travel through time to see the explosion. Not so farfetched seeing as I was in 1979 not even 24 hours ago. But then again, why did he refer to Nathan as 'Flying Man?' He knew something, too much, and that made him a bit of a liability no matter how kind-hearted he seemed to be. As long as he keeps his damn mouth shut…But she recalled a Company founder with the last name Nakamura. Hm? That's odd. I don't remember reading about him. Maybe I didn't get enough files. How ironic it would be for Hiro to be the son of said Founder while Elle was the daughter of one. Knowing what that Company had done to her and her 'sisters,' if you took a stretch long enough to call those strangers such a thing, Tracy Strauss wouldn't be surprised. Lips pursed a bit. "No. No, that's all for now, I think." Said she, before genuinely adding. "Thank you. For telling me this."

Elle

: "Don't mention it," to be honest Elle was more or less expecting Tracy to run with the information bestowed upon her, and use it to ruin the Company, which was why she had no qualms telling her. The sooner they were out of their lives the better. Consequences be damned, if normals got a hold of the information that would probably change the game a bit, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. A simple electric jolt could easily erase a computer's entire hard drive should those be collected in any way. "Well, I need to get home," there was a certain serial killer she needed to chat with. "See ya 'round." With that, Elle went nonchalantly walking out of the alley, thoughts lingering on her brain. There was so much that she needed to get done, no better time than like the present right?::

Tracy

: Tracy wouldn't mention it. To anyone, actually. At least, not until the explosion. She had self-interest on the brain, and there was no way she was going to jeopardize her current standings with Linderman, and the Company, by outting them before she had a chance to put herself in a safer position. When Elle began to be off, she nodded her head. "And I've a car running a few streets over with my purse in the passenger seat, so I must be going too." A nod of her head. And I need a shower. And to desperately change my clothes. As Elle made her way down one side of the alley, Tracy made her way down another, heels falling across the pavement as she worked her way back toward the street to get her car. A car she hoped was still there.
