Meredith Gordon is an evolved human with the ability to create and manipulate flames. With this given ability, she is also resistant to some types of heat, aswell as immune to her own flames. Sixteen Years ago, she slept with Nathan Petrelli and had his illegitimate daughter, Claire. After a Company Bag and Tag mission went awry, Meredith used her ability and exploded her apartment, presumeably killing her daughter aswell as anyone who may of been inside her apartment at the time. After being presumed dead alongside her daughter at the age of 21, Meredith Gordon fled to Mexico, and continued moving around in order to stay incognito.

Personality
Meredith Gordon was a typical southern raised girl, that as a child was being raised alongside her brother Flint Gordon Jr, by their father Flint Gordon Sr. It was Twenty Five Years ago to this day, that her entire life changed forever. Upon warning her brother that he should finish up his chores before their father got home, he didn't seem to comply quick enough. As soon as their father got home, and started to beat Flint Meredith called out for him to stop, and when he didn't manifested her ability in her rage for the first time, setting her entire house on fire. When her brother asked how she did that, as confused as he was she told him she was unsure, and they headed off completly changed as Meredith was forced to become the big sister, and look out for her brother.
Once seperated from Flint, and shortly after the incident with her daughter she left to span the globe, looking high and low for her brother in hopes of one day being reunited with him. Rather frusterated at always coming up short, she doesn't give up hope that one day she will reunite with her brother, as he is the only living family that she has left.
Power
Meredith has the ability of Pyrokinesis, which is the ability to create and manipulate fire and she shares this unique ability with her brother. Though her flames aren't quite as strong as her brothers, they aren't that much weaker in terms, despite the visual difference of her brother's burning blue, denoting that they do burn hotter than her own. Still though, the percentage of power isn't that far off, as Meredith's index is 74%, while Flint's is 80%. A 6% difference in overall power, as tracked by the Company Records. Though the only reason that could be, is because unlike Flint Gordon Jr, she doesn't have as much rage as her brother, which other than adraneline , is the key to activating Pyrokinesis. In theory, it is possible that her flames may one day reach the same bright blue hottness as her brother's, as can be seen by the two times rage got the best of her, and she "exploded" destroying two different homes that she lived in, and killing her daughter Claire. Meredith is resist to her own flames, and has the ability to not only create Fireballs, and Streams of flames, she is also able to suck the oxygen out of a metal shipping container in a rather accelerated manner. Though, she herself doesn't seem to be affected by the heat, or the lack of oxygen.
