Elle Bishop is a sadistic sociopath with paranoid delusions. As well as being an evolved human with the ability to generate and manipulate electricity, she is also the daughter of Company Director Robert Bishop. After completing a task of mini-missions, Elle was finally given agent status.

Personality

Most of the time Elle has a bubbly and carefree personality, though she can be subject to sudden and violent mood swings at random. Mentally Elle is still a child in some aspects though she is able to communicate and understand some things at an adult level. Heavy dependency issues are evident, which is why she so desperately seeks her fathers approval and will even result to dangerous measures to make him "proud".

Personal space was never something Elle payed much attention to, and is usually confused when people end up running away from her. Another big red signal is her delight in other people's pain which she usually causes with jolts of electricity. She doesn't always prefer to cause physical pain sometimes she does this by embarrassing others.

Some describe her as a vixen, always trying to seduce men at every turn, this is in part due to the fact that she never really had a relationship before. And even though people may be put off by her antics, she really doesn't care until it makes people think lowly of her, that is people she actually cares about. All she really desires is to be wanted and useful.

Being a sociopath she exhibits the inability to empathize with others or feel remorse or guilt. She may appear to come off as being caring but it is only an act to get what it is she wants. Elle doesn't view people as friends more so as "toys"/"pets" that are only there for her own personal amusement or to be used for future opportunities that may arise. This however does have it's perks, she is easily able to read people and manipulate them for her own needs often coming off as being charming and innocent.

Elle really likes the job of being an agent as it's something fun and exciting and never the same, allowing her to live on the edge. She will not hesitate to compromise others feelings or safety to get the job done or whatever she wants, and in some cases even her own, acting of impulsiveness. For the most part Elle is fearless except when it comes to being punished by her father. She views herself as being the best and often struts the halls of Primatech like she owns it, looking down on the prisoners, and undermining the capabilities of others.

Despite her beliefs of being the best, she does screw up from time to time, and doesn't take responsibility for her actions, even resorting to putting the blame on other people even if it's apparent she did something wrong. Even though she seemingly listens to her father, Elle hates rules and authority figures and would prefer to do what she wants to do, for example ignoring Company Protocol. The only thing keeping her staying at the Company is her father, and without him she'd probably be causing mayhem in the outside world.

Killing comes easily, and is often done for: fun, annoyed, someone looked at her the wrong way, a negative mood, boredom, or for no reason at all. The gravity of the act doesn't elicit guilt from her, despite the fact her father constantly lectures her about murdering unnecessarily.

She possesses somewhat of a foul mouth, not afraid to voice her opinions or impressions of others. Blunt and sarcastic insults are constantly being thrown out at people regardless of them being offended. Despite having antisocial personality disorder, she is actually quite vocal and interested in meeting new people especially guys. Lying is something she does for fun, playing a mental game with other people to see what she can make them believe or do.

Power

Elle has the power to generate and manipulate electricity. Unlike most, she has fine control when it comes to wielding her ability due to years of vigorous training at the insistence of her father. Usually her hands are used when displaying her power, but she is capable of generating electricity from any point on her body. Elle man can manifest her ability in a variety ways a few including: balls, bolts, and a torrent of electrical energy.

The amount of current or voltage she puts into her power is also fully under her control, and she can use her ability for a variety of reasons. Power generation, wiping computer hard drives clean, welding locks, restarting the heart and even worse paralysis, and killing.

Elle is extremely addicted to her ability and will use it for almost anything, and with the support of her father she gladly experiments with her power, currently practicing what she calls "sharpshooting", channeling a pinpoint yet very powerful blast with the tip of her finger.

However, though she is generally immune for obvious reasons, there are instances where her ability is known to back fire on her, and this is when she is doused in water. The electricity never visibly scars her when this backfire occurs, but it is quite painful though she has a higher tolerance of it than most.

When electricity is used against her she doesn't absorb it like some would think. However it does seemingly have no effect, only causing her a slight tingling sensation, but this can be overcome if she is wet, or her powers are shortening out.

Recently Elle had a new development with her ability. Close to being assassinated by Alexis Copeland, Elle was able to use electromagnetic repulsion to levitate after being thrown off of a partially constructed building.

Relationships

Bob.jpg Robert "Bob" Bishop is Elle's father. He began training her to be an agent at the age of four, but didn't actually bring her in until she nine. Elle tries to believe that he cares for her, and has even begun to think independently of him. Having found out about the testing done on her she doesn't know how to feel about him. She desperately tries to fool herself into believing that he does indeed care for her, but after finding out that she was pregnant and that he abandoned her to escape the explosion in the Caribbean she has since given up.
baby.jpg Born June 13, 2007, Noah is Sylar and Elle's first child together. From within the womb, Noah has proven to have a very powerful ability, transforming the Gray's Apartment complex to something out of a storybook. After a long vigorous labor, he was finally born and instantly captured the hearts of both his parents.
