Caleb Green is a young, witty man who learned of the existence of people with abilities after witnessing a horrific event involving his mother and one of these so-called 'evolved' human beings. A former member of the Marines, he is the one of the newest agents of the Company, partnered up with Elle Bishop and Alexis Copeland.

Personality

Caleb's personality is baffling at times, even to though among his co-workers and peers. Despite the intense nature of their occupation, not to mention the constant violence, deceit, and espionage, the man is able to maintain a laid-back and almost jovial composure. Always quick to make a witty retort or a sarcastic remark, Caleb apparently refuses to let the burden of the job get to him.

Though he's been called good-looking, Caleb has never been one to designate himself as a 'lady's man'. In actuality, he would much rather do things on his own than work with others, although obviously he has no problem with a team effort if it will get the job done. This being said, he is never above a flirtatious comment or a lingering glance. But the thing with Caleb is…you can never tell if he's genuinely interested, or just trying to find a way to occupy his time.

Even with his playful nature, you'd be a fool to underestimate him. He was chosen to join both the Marines and the Company for a reason. In the midst of a serious job, it's almost as though a whole 'nother person takes over. Caleb becomes cool, calm, and composed, quick to put a bullet between the eyes of anyone deemed as an enemy. He's literally a lethal weapon, and when push comes to shove he's never afraid to pull the trigger.

A little known fact about Caleb is that he's actually a comic book enthusiast, set on the trail by his Mother after she'd given him a stack of vintage comic books left behind after his father abandoned them. After her death he continued to collect graphic novels of all kinds, keeping them all in plastic cases to maintain their mint condition. Even now, he continues to collect various memorabilia, including action figures, posters, and t-shirts.

After witnessing his mother's death at the hands of an evolved human, Caleb has an intense dislike and possible hatred for those with abilities. In his earlier days he'd actually attempted to try and track them down, following various articles about 'strange' events surrounding people, and researching genetic trees. But he learned to deal with it in his later years, as shown by his willingness to work with those with abilities as an agent of the Company, which also shows his loyalty and devotion to his employer.

Even with his laid-back nature, Caleb has a few inner demons that he's forced to contend with. He has frequent nightmares about the night he lost his mother, leading to countless nights without sleep, and the occasional being forced to turn to either sleeping pills or alcohol for refuge. He also has an intense anger issue, which no doubt stems from his habit of bottling up whatever it is that he's feeling to 'deal' with it later. The pressure builds until he just explodes, lashing out at those around him in his rage.

All in all, Caleb is the literal definition of a good guy. He's nice and kind to a fault, with a strong sense of both right and wrong. A good natured person, he's easy to get along with, and always trying to see the good in people, which often leads him to try and bring out said goodness. If there's one thing that's a bittersweet fact about Caleb, it's the fact that he can never ignore a person in need, even if it means putting his own life on the line in the process.

Power

When it comes to abilities of a superhuman nature, Caleb has none. In fact, he believes that he holds an advantage over those with powers for this very reason. Because where they have a tendency to be predictable, with their one-card tricks, Caleb has an entire arsenal up his sleeve.

Having been enrolled in classes since he was a child, as well as his training as a member of the Marines, Caleb is well-versed in several martial arts disciplines, including Boxing, Karate, and Jiu-Jitsu. Although he is not necessarily a master in any of these, he has managed to effectively combine the multiple arts into a unique style that compliments his strengths.

Caleb is the recipient of multi-disciplinary military training from the U.S. Marine Corps. While a Marine, he also received training from the U.S. Army and Navy. From this training, Caleb is proficient in not only basic infantry skills, but in special operations, which includes the use and maintenance of specialized firearms and explosive ordnance.

He is highly trained in infiltration into heavily-guarded enemy territories and structures for the purpose of assassination, captures, and military intelligence. Also, he is trained in various forms of camouflage and stealth.

From his airborne training, Caleb is able to pack and maintain his own parachute rigs, as well as professionally control his landings, in daylight and at night.

He is skilled with a great many types of explosives, ranging from simple dynamite to plastique to improvised explosives. He is also extremely deadly in knife training, preferring the knife he learned to fight with in the USMC: the ka-bar. Additionally, he is a preternaturally-precise marksman. He is thoroughly trained and experienced in unconventional ("guerilla") warfare.
