Astral Projection is described as the ability to project the consciousness out of the body. More experienced users of Astral Projection will be able to solidify the astral form into an identical version of the user, however, the strain of keeping up the solidity usually takes a toll on the user the longer it is maintained. A solidified astral form is capable of interacting with the world around it, just as a regular body would. It is also capable of taking damage and attacks, which cause greater strain on the user.
An astral form, whether solidified or not, can be projected to almost any location, regardless of distance or intimacy with the details of the surronding. Another "location" an astral form may be projected to is another person's dream. The astral projector has no control over the dreams, but they are allowed to interact with the dream as if they actually belonged there.
